Mural "Road to freedom" painted by polish artist Mikołaj Rejs in 2011. The work was the part of Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow project.
The project according to the author:
“A mural painted together with young people on the former Wawel confectionery factory as part of the ‘Roads to freedom’ project organised by the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art and the Consulate General of the US. The mural depicts the relationships between vague characters who are being drawn into our reality by kites created by the young people during the workshops. This kind of interaction between objects and painted characters is a frequent way I express myself.”
