Monochrome Monolithos


Monolithos castle, south of Rhodes Island, Greece.
Castle was built in 1480 on top of a 100m rock by the Knights of Saint John and was never conquered.

  7. The placement of this castle and its date are mind boggling. How in the world would you get up there. I certainly hope there is a roadbed. I agree with Eileen. This is an awesome view.
